Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the moldit.ai browser extension and its backend service (together, the "Service"), provided by moldit.ai ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Service does
moldit.ai is a browser extension that overlays your Gmail inbox with AI-generated work-state groupings (e.g. "Needs Action," "Waiting for Reply"). To do this, it connects to your Gmail account via Google OAuth and communicates with our backend service to classify and display your messages.
2. Eligibility and account access
You must have a valid Gmail account and the legal authority to grant moldit.ai access to it. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs through your authorized connection to the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to access, modify, or send email on behalf of an account you are not authorized to use.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where permitted by law.
- Use the Service to send spam, unlawful content, or in violation of Google's Gmail API or Chrome Web Store policies.
- Attempt to interfere with, overload, or disrupt the backend service.
4. Actions taken on your behalf
Certain features (archiving, marking read/unread, sending replies) cause the Service to take actions on your Gmail account. These actions are only performed when you explicitly initiate them within the extension's interface. You are responsible for reviewing any reply before it is sent.
5. AI classification is not guaranteed
Work-state labels and groupings are generated by automated AI classification and may be inaccurate or incomplete. The Service is a productivity aid, not a substitute for reviewing your own inbox. We are not responsible for missed, misclassified, or mishandled emails resulting from reliance on the Service's classifications.
6. Beta status
The Service is currently offered in closed beta and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without notice. Features, availability, and pricing may change as the product develops.
7. Data handling
Our collection and use of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and revoking its access via Google Account permissions. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account found violating these Terms.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, moldit.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any loss of data, missed communications, or mistaken email actions.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
